Coronavirus Update

Dear Valued Clients,

We believe that it’s important for us to do our part to aid in the response to the recent developments in SW Missouri regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). To help protect our clients, staff, and community, we will be closing our doors to the public effective immediately.

We are still fully staffed and operational but will be conducting business via phone and online until this pandemic subsides.

Our team will continue to handle your tax matters in a timely and efficient manner. In lieu of in-person tax appointments, we are rescheduling all appointments using Zoom. We will send you a link that you can use to connect to our Zoom account for your meeting.  Your existing appointment will be conducted at the same time as currently scheduled but will be conducted online. If you prefer a telephone appointment, please reply to this email or call us immediately at 417-449-4064 to let us know. Otherwise, we will expect to see you online.

We also encourage you to upload any necessary documents to us via our online portal, at: Ted Smith Secure Portal.  You can also access our portal via our website www.tedsmithcpa.com and click on the tab “Client Central”

Please also remember we have a 1040 individual tax app you can use to complete your IRS tax filing requirements.  To download the app click here.

Fortunately, we were already prepared to provide your tax, accounting, and other business services 100% remotely, so that you don’t miss a beat.

Please do call us immediately if you need assistance using the online portal, or if you do not have a scanner or smartphone that can be used to submit your documents.
